Vera Himebauch, 86, of 1820 E. Ridgeway Ave., died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 1990, at Parkview Gardens Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 21, 1904, in Goodwell, Okla., daughter of Wilhelm and Harmina Reints. She married Roy G. Himebauch Jan. 6, 1938. He died in 1964.

She graduated from Gates Business College and worked as a secretary at Home Savings & Loan and as a cook at Orange School.

Survivors include a son, David R. of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family.
