Margaret M. Smith, 91, of 134 Vincent Road, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 1990, at Covenant Medical Center at West Ninth Street of natural causes. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 19, 1899, in Waterloo, daughter of Mathais and Mary Reuter Miller. She married James J. Smith in 1930 in Waterloo.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura Bahl and Mrs. Mary Stabenow, both of Waterloo, and by numerous nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband in 1981, a daughter, Gloria Ann Smith, and a son, James (Skipper) Smith.

Friends may call at Oppold-Hagarty Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service.
