WATERLOO - Loma Marie Snyder, 92, of 512 Hammond Ave., died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at her daughter's home of natural causes.

She was born March 15, 1913, in Winneshiek County, daughter of Joseph and Alice Kelly Armstrong. She married Kenneth Jacob Snyder Sept. 5, 1933, at Plymouth Rock. He died June 28, 1975.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and a member of the Navy Mothers.

Survived by four sons, Joseph (Pat) and Gary (Anaruth), both of Waterloo, Edward (Shari) of Ankeny and Ken (Shelly) of Alexandria, Minn.; three daughters, Sally (Eldridge) Hicks of Catoosa, Okla., Mary Ellen (Ron) Hellman of Waterloo and Rhoda (Mark) Campbell of Des Moines; 37 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Berchman Armstrong of Atkins and Loren Armstrong of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kristina Hicks; three brothers, Ray, Bert and Pat Armstrong; and two sisters, Sarah Porter and Ruth Kapler.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 3 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be given for Masses.
