Graveside services for Florence E. Zaiger, 79, of 2021 Castle St., will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery in Lohrville. Mrs. Zaiger died Friday (June 24, 1988) at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls of complications of age.

She was born July 15, 1908, in South Bend, Ind., daughter of Elliott K. and Mary E. Buffham Clover. She married Floyd J. Zaiger Feb. 11, 1933, in Lohrville. He died July 1, 1972.

She was a volunteer at the Montessori School in Cedar Falls and was active in extension services and
4-H activities in Calhoun County.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Durchenwald of 833 Latham Place, Cedar Falls; a son, John of
Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, John Clover of Lakeland, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Ann Buckingham in 1971; three sisters, Pearl Clover and Ruth Clover and Gertrude Schnieder; and two brothers, Hubert Clover and Wade Clover.
