CEDAR FALLS - Larry William Romer, 36, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 16, 1968, in Spencer, son of Oscar and Rose Bergeson Romer Bass.

Mr. Romer had numerous jobs in the area until becoming disabled in 1993.

Survived by his mother of Sheldon; his significant other, John Carstensen of Cedar Falls; three brothers, Mike (Becky) Romer of Sheldon and Roger Duryee and Ervin Duryee, both of Mason City; and three sisters, Debbie Lemere of Sheldon, Renee (John) Frahm of Audubon and LuAnne (Jim) Tagtmeier of Marble Rock.

Preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, with inurnment in Riverview Cemetery, both in Algona. Friends may call for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, in charge of local arrangements.
