Mr. and Mrs. Orlando E. Thompson of 104 Birdland Drive are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Dianne, to Richard Schwab, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schwab of 1208 Upton Ave.

The bride-elect is employed at Black's Sky Room, and her fiance is an employee of the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

An April 25 wedding in Immanuel Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. is being planned.
