EVANSDALE - George W. Hall Jr., 69, of Evansdale, formerly of La Crosse, Wis, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Jan 15, 1937, in La Crosse, son of George W and Leona M. Faas Hall. He married Shirley J. Lindberg March 26, 1955, in La Crosse. Mr Hall was employed as a machinist with John Deere for 33 years, retiring in August 1998.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Jeff of Waterloo and Bruce of Evansdale; two daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Deutsch of Evansdale and Georgia (Mike) George Hall Jr. Bullermarn of Bourbonnais, Ill; eight grandchildren, Chad (Amy) Deutsch, Josh Deutsch, Matt Bullerman, Chrissy (Bill) Kugler, David Bullerman, Heather Bullerman, BriAnna Hall and Dakota Lang; two great-grandchildren, Amber Deutsch and Brenhen Deutsch; a brother, Thomas of Waterloo; and three sisters, Dolores Anderson of Sherburn, Minn, Jeannine Auricchio. of Onalaska, Wis., and Lucy Gaines of La Crosse.

Preceded in death by a son, Robert Francis; a brother, Robert Francis; a sister, Ramona Hagen; and his parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, East Third and Mulberry streets, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo, where there will be a 4 pm rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
