WATERLOO — Mary L. Cole, 69, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2913, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Jan. 2, 1944, in New Hampton, daughter of Frank P. and Martha L. Sackett Edgerton. She married James W. Cole on June 4, 1960. He died July 22, 1995.

Mrs. Cole attended Orange High School and was self-employed for several years. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church (formerly Grace Brethren Church).

Survived by a daughter, Tammie Cole of Waterloo; two sons, James (Kamee Swanum) of Shakopee, Minn., and Wade of St. Cloud, Minn.; a daughter-in-law, Melody Cole of Waterloo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Beverly (Maynard) Ellison of Waterloo, Kay (Jim) Zarfis of Temple City, Calif., Elizabeth Ebers of Mexico, Mo., and Faith Edgerton of Vandalia, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Ramona Edgerton of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Frank P. Edgerton Jr. and Robert P. Edgerton; and two sisters, JoAnn Randall and Martha Berends.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
