William J. Romelfanger, 76, a former Waterloo resident, died after an operation in St. Joseph's Hospital, Mason City, Saturday.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1886, the son of Joseph and Catherine Logan Romelfanger.

Mr. Romelfanger was a realtor in Mason City.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rose Romelfanger, at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Newton Stallman, 118 Argyle St., and Mrs. Celia Boom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Hogan McKee Colonial Chapel, Mason City, until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when the funeral services will be at the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dougherty.
