Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the Zion American Lutheran Church for Marine Pfc. David H. Paulsen, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward D. Paulsen, 824 Clough St., who was killed in action on Nov 12 near DaNang, Viet Nam.

Pfc. Paulsen was attached to I Co., 3rd Battalion 1st Regiment, 1st Division (REIN) of the Marines. He had been on active duty since Aug. 24, 1965.

The Rev. La Verne Kampfe, pastor of the church, will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Military rites will be conducted by the inspectors and instructors staff of the Seventh 105 MM Howitzer Battery of Waterloo.

Those who wish may give memorials to the Zion American Lutheran Church. Friends may call at Parrott & Wood funeral home until noon Friday. The casket will not be open at the church.
