WATERLOO — David Paul Eggleston, 65, of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, Aug. 18, 2013.

He was born Dec. 24, 1947, in Waterloo, son of George Louis and Zelna J. Keniston Eggleston.

Mr. Eggleston served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He graduated from Columbus High School and the Brown College of Broadcasting School, Minneapolis. He was a broadcaster with KOOL 105.7, now KXEL, under the name of Paul Michaels.

Survived by a brother, Gerald Thomas (Fran) Bussey of Liberty, Mo.; and two sisters, Carol (Phil) Bussey Porter of Oskaloosa and Dolores Bussey of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Michael; and a sister, Marlys Baker.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.
