CEDAR FALLS - Marion Toepfer, 88, of the Cedar Falls Western Home, formerly of Charles City, died Monday, Feb. 5, 1996, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 29, 1907, at Rockford, daughter of William and Lena Weber Schmidt. She married Byren Toepher on June 16, 1926, in Charles City. He died in 1987.

Survived by a son, Kenneth of Leonia, N.J.; a daughter, Betty Gray of Waukon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Huxham.

Services 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, both in Charles City. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until services Friday at the funeral home.
