Mrs. Sarah E. Lamb died this morning at 7:45 in the home ol her daughter, Mrs. R. G. Lewis, 518 Dawson Street, after an illness of five months of cancer and complications.

Decedent was born in New York state Sept. 2, 1840. Shewas married to Joseph W., Lamb Aug. 14, 1864'in Wheatland, Wis. They moved to Waterloo eight years ago from Lincoln, Neb.

Six children were born of which four are livling: W. G. Lamb and Mrs. R. G. Lewis, Waterloo, and two sons in the west. The husband, eight grandchildren and six great-grand-children also survive.

The body is at Petersen Bros. chapel.

Burial at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo There is a discrepancy in Sarah's maiden name between the 1925 Iowa census, which is clearly spelled Wilcox, versus her son William's obituary, which spells it Whipple.
