EVANSDALE — Marcia Louise Anderson, 42, of Evansdale, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of respiratory failure.

She was born March 9, 1971, in Ames, daughter of Paul and Fonda Hagaman Anderson.

She was a 1991 graduate of Waterloo East High School and was a member of Prince of Peace Church and was a Girl Scout.

Survived by her mother of Evansdale; a brother, Mark (America) Anderson of Waterloo; and a niece, Natalie.

Preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; and her uncle, Frank Hagaman.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, preceded by an hour of visitation, with private family inurnment Saturday in Mineral Ridge Cemetery, Ridgeport. Kearns Funeral Service, Kimball Chapel, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.
