Services for David H. Halverson, 71, of 1313 Downing Ave., will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He died Saturday (Sept. 6, 1986) at his home.

He was born Dec. 17, 1914, in Marshall County, Minn., son of Sever and Mathilde Hanson Halverson. He married Lena Strelow Jan. 15, 1941, in Waukon.

He was employed by Deere & Co. for 29 years, retiring in 1975.

Survivors incloude his wife; two daughters, Violet Halverson of Waterloo and Helen Rash of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Morris of Waterloo and Oscar of England; and a sister, Hazel Hugill of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded by a daughter, Marie, four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
