ROBERTS, ANDERSON, GIBSON

Mrs. Jo R. Roberts, 78, was found dead from a heart attack late Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stewart A. Gibson, 2000 West Third Street, with whom she had resided for the past 20 years. She was discovered by Mrs. Gibson upon her return home after spending the day at Red Cross work, and had been dead since 10:30 a. m.. according to the attending physician.

Altho failing in health for the past year and a half, Mrs. Roberts had been in apparent good health when her daughter left early in the morning.

Born Aug. 27, 1864, in Keokuk, la., she was the daughter of Samuel and Clara Belle Anderson. She
was married Oct. 15, 1888, to Josiah Roberts and the couple resided for many years in Keokuk. Mr. Roberts died in 1907.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of First Congregatiohal church and Waterloo chapter, Daughters of the
American Revolution.

Survivors besides Mrs. Gibson include a son, D. J. Robert, Des Moines, and three grandchildren.

The body was taken to the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, where prayer service will be conducted
at 10 a. m. Friday by Rev. Charles F. Jacobs, pastor of First Congregational church. The body will be sent to Keokuk, where funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday. Burial will be in Keokuk.
