WATERLOO — James Hurst Hunter, 68, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, in Arlington.

He was born Dec. 23, 1944, son of A. Hurst and Emelda Reilly Hunter.

Mr. Hunter was a graduate of Columbus Catholic High School. He worked at Lorillard Tobacco Co. in Texas, retiring in 2006 after 37 years.

Survived by his wife, Carolyn; three sons, Jeff (Christian), Scott (Gina) and Mark (Caroline); a daughter, Sara Hunter; and four grandchildren, Reese, Brynn, Grace and Emily.

Services were Aug. 12 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Chapel, Arlington. Moore Funeral Home Chapel, Arlington, was in charge of arrangements.
