CEDAR FALLS - Services for Ernest Edwin Groote, 64, of Isle, Minn., formerly of the Cedar Falls-Grundy Center area, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Colfax Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Groote died Saturday night at Mercy Hospital in Anoka. Minn.

He was born March 24, 1917, at Grundy Center, son of Harm and Annie Buskohl Groote. He married Esther Harberts and they were later divorced. He married Irene Samo Stewart and they were later divorced.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Michael McKillip of 4004 S. Lawn Road; a stepson, Robert Stewart of Elko, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Colleen King of 1203 Calumet Drive, an adopted son, Paul Groote; four grandchildren; three brothers: Benjamin of Grundy Center, Herman of Conrad and Roy of Dike; and a sister, Mrs. Herman DeBerg of Dike.

Friends may call at the funeral home until services Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church of Grundy Center.
