Memorial services for Dorothea E. Templeton, 64, of 425 Allen St., will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the United Presbyterian Church in Tingley with burial in the Tingley Cemetery.

Miss Templeton died at the Americana Health Care Center Monday afternoon.

She was born April 9, 1916, in Union City, the daughter of James and Alice Elder Templeton. She taught school in the Union County and Clarinda areas before moving to Waterloo in 1952. She received her masters degree from the University of Northern Iowa in elementary education. She had taught in Emerson, Orange, Lafayette and City View schools before retiring in 1979.

Survivors include a brother, James E. Templeton of West Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Neal Weeda of Afton.

Keams-Dykeman Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Friends wishing may give memorials to the Westminster Church in her name or to the American Cancer Society.
