WATERLOO BOY KILLED AT CAR, TRUCK COLLIDE.
Ralph Dickson, 18, Victim; Brother, Russell, 30, Suffers Injuries.
Ralph Glenn Dickson, 18, Waterloo, died at Sartori Memorial Hospital at 7 p.m. Tuesday of injuries received a few minutes earlier when a truck in which he was riding, driven by his brother, Russell, colllided with an automobile a mile east of Benson on highway 20. Russell is still in the hospital, with his right shoulder fractured.
Ralph Glenn Dickson was born Oct. 16, 1918. in Cummings. N. D. He had lived in Waterloo nine years and was employed at the time of his death as a checker for the John Deere Tractor company
Besides his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn F. Dickson. 1121 Sixth Street West there are three brothers
living: Wayne L.. Bartlett, Ohio; Russell Everett, at home, and Dale Emerson, in the CCC camp at Milford. la. A grandfather, Graham Dickson. lives at Bartlett, Ohio.Ralph graduated from West High in June, 1936. He ranked fourth in scholastic standing in a class of 155. He was employed for a time at the Waterloo Savings Bank before going to work in the office at John Deere.
The body was taken to the Kearns Garden Chapel.
