CEDAR FALLS—Mary Emma Fox Anway, 76, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Sartori Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness with cancer.

She was born March 6, 1928, in Stanley, daughter of Frank and Theresa Friedrich Fox. She married Leo Anway on June 2, 1946, in Fairbank.

Mrs. Anway was a graduate of Fairbank High School and was a homemaker and musician. She was a member of Finchford Community Bible Church and a lady's Bible study in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include: her husband; two sons, Al (Vickie) of Roanoke, Va., and Galen of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Sharon Anway of Cedar Falls; two grandsons, Doug and Jeff Anway, both of Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Marlyn Fox of Phoenix; and a sister, Velma Padget of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Ray Dallenbach; a sister and brother-in-law, Emily and Leslie DeHart; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Martha Fox.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Finchford Community Bible Church, Finchford, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with family present 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to the church.

A luncheon will be served at the church following the committalservice, and an acoustic jam session will follow the luncheon.
