DEATH OF LLOYD GERMANN

At half past six o'clock this morning Lloyd Germann died of heart failure at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben* Germann, who live at the corner of Franklin and Seventh Streets.

The lad was sick with the measles about six weeks ago, was better and again went to work with the Wagner Manufacturing Co. He was not strong and was laid up again but when better pluckily went to work when his sister was quarantined for scarlet fever and he was fumigated and permitted to go out and contine his work. He has slept in a barn some of these past nights and went voluntarily into the quarantine at his father's home on Wednesday, being too sick to work longer and fearing that he might possibly be coming down with scarlet fever, and heart failure followed.

His father is employed by the Cedar Falls Broom Co.'s factory and the family moved here four years ago from Dubuque. Much sympathy is expressed for them in their bereavement and anxieties.
