CEDAR FALLS—Services for lone M. Bickal, 86, formerly of 801 W. Fourth St., Waterloo, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. She died Monday morning at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, where she had resided for several years.

She was born May 3, 1893, at Corydon, daughter of Gustavus and Grace Garrett Snyder. She married Arthur R. Bickal in October 1949, and he died in 1967.

Mrs. Bickal graduated from Shawnee, Okla., High School in 1912 and the University of Northern Iowa in 1917. She taught in Shawnee and also in schools in Livermore, Estberville and Goldfield in Iowa. After teaching at Edison and Kittrell elementary schools for 34 years, she retired in 1958.

Survivors include two nieces.

Friends may, call at the funeral home until service time. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church in her name.
