George W. Smith died at St. Francis Hospital Sunday morning after an illness of two years.

He is survived by his widow and seven children.

Mr. Smith was born Oct. 10, 1858, and was employed for many years with the Illinois Central railway.

Funeral services will be in Hileman &. Gindt's chapel tomorrow at 2:30 and interment will be in Fairview.
