Funeral services for Ralph M. (Par) Baltes, 58, of. 1001 Riehl St., who died Monday morning will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. E.
Sodawasser, pastor, will oficiate.

A wake service is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday in the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Baltes was born May 24, 1912 at New Hampton, son of Nick and Amelia Schupanitz and married Rosemarie Sheeny June 14, 1937, at New Hampton's St. Mary's Cathplic Church. He a Navy veteran of World War II, serving from August of 1943 to February of 1946.

For 19 years, Mr. Baltes was an employee of Rath Packing Company and was a member of Local P-46, St. Joseph's Cathoic Church, and Becker-Chapman Post American Legion.

He is survived by his widow; and a brother, Virgil M. Baltes, of 812 W. 6th St., Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be at New Hampton's St. Mary's Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Thursday.
