Services for Woodrow W. Anders 72, of 3320 Tropic Lane, Apt. 4, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Central Christian Church(Disciples of Christ) with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

He died Tuesday morning at Schoitz Medical Center.

Mr. Anders was born April 2, 1913, in Parnell, Mo., son of Bert and Lou Wilson Anders. He married Hazel Gabbert May 11, 1935, in Maryville, Mo. He worked for the Chicago Great Western Railroad as a clerk for 28 years. He was a counselor for five years with the Northeast Council on
Alcoholism, retiring in 1978.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles of 1302 Grant Ave., Jerry of 824 Cedar Bend St. and John of 411 Downing Ave.; two daughters, La Monta Weston of 223 Southbrooke Drive and Mrs. Jerry Hansen of 1814 Coachman Drive; three brothers, Dewaine of Chiefland, Fla., Doyle "Everett" of Indianola and Bill of Milo; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Kearns- Dykeman Chapel until 9 p.m. today and from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church for an hour before services Friday.

Memorials may be made to the church.
