Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Leo A. Heim, 64, of 114 Newell St., who died at his home at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday of carcinoma. The Rt. Rev. Ernest Ament, pastor, will officiate with burial in Mt Olivet Cemetery. There will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m. Thursday at the O'Keefe & Towne funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Heim was born April 29, 1904 in Dubuque, the son of Joseph and Mary Heck Heim. He married Ethel Kern on Oct 5, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had worked in Waterloo for 30 years with the Jens Olsen Construction Co., the last few years as a commercial construction superintendent with the firm. He was a member of St, Marys Catholic Church.

Survivors include his widow, two sons, Ronaid, 703 W. 7th St. and Timothy, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Karen Stone, 225 W. 5th St.; three brothers, Alfred, Marshalltown, Arthur, Cincinnati, Ohio and Eldon, Richland, Wash.; six sisters, Mrs. Rosina Sorensen, Cleveland, Ohio, Miss Miriam Heim, Mrs. Lillian Dempsey and Mrs. Eleanor Ward, all of Dubuque, Mrs. Bertha Jenni, Des Moines, and Mrs. Lucille McKeon, Davenport; and two grandchildren.

Preceding in death are his parents.
