Rosa Marie Jacobsen, 85, of Rockwell City, formerly from Cedar Falls, died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Sunny Knoll Care Centre in Rockwell City.

Rosa was born May 5, 1920, the daughter of Chris and Lena (Gerike) Jacobsen in the Cedar Falls area. Her father died at a young age and she was lovingly raised by her mother and stepfather Hans Larsen Sr. attending schools and graduating from Cedar Falls High School. Rosa lived at home caring for her parents and worked all her adult life at Hinson Manufacturing in Waterloo before retiring to live with her niece Sherri in Rockwell City.

Preceding her in death were her parents Chris Jacobsen, Hans Larsen Sr. and Lena Larsen, brother Hans, and sisters Hertha Brown and Ruth Simerson.

She is survived and missed by a long list of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2005 at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls.
The family requests no flowers and memorial contributions may be left to the discretion of the family
