WATERLOO — Mary Helen Rousselow, 88, of Friendship Village, died there Saturday, July 20, 2013.

She was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Waterloo, daughter of William and Hazel Miller Bridge. She married Virgil Rousselow on Sept. 26, 1943, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 6, 2002. She then married Ralph “Red” Leymaster on Oct. 29, 2005, at South Waterloo Church of the Brethren.

Mrs. Rousselow graduated from Orange Township in 1942. She and her husband Virgil farmed in Orange Township for 54 years until 2000.

Survived by her husband; three daughters, Jonell (Bruce) Woolsey of Chandler, Ariz., Margaret (John) Wolfe of Waterloo and LouAnne (Scott) Wagner of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sons, David (Pam) and Scott (Amy), both of Waterloo, and Dale (Anita Merfeld); five stepsons, Ron Leymaster of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Kreg (Jane) Leymaster of Hastings, Neb., Rusty Leymaster of Cedar Falls, Mark (Brenda) Leymaster of Long Beach, Calif., and Mike (Ann) Leymaster of Walford; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at South Waterloo Church of the Brethren, preceded by burial in Orange Township Cemetery. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
