CEDAR FALLS — Judy M. Hoppenworth, 74, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Parkersburg and Scottsdale, Ariz., died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

She was born July 30, 1938, in Ogden, daughter of Clarence and Beulah Plater Paulson. She married Eldon Hoppenworth in 1958, and they later divorced.

Mrs. Hoppenworth graduated from Ogden High School and attended the University of Iowa, receiving her degree as an X-ray technician.

Survived by two sons, Kent (Gina) of Scottsdale and Kreg (Gayla) of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sheri Lynn Hoppenworth; and a great-grandson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial at 2 p.m. in Maas Cemetery, Ogden. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
