Funeral services for Leland Clark Leeper, 57, of 2016 Rainbow Dr., are pending at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home. Mr. Leeper died at home about 8:30 a.m. Monday of a heart condition.

He was born June 4, 1891, in Pender, Neb., the son of Thomas E. and Cora Leland Leeper. He came to Waterloo with his family when he was eight years old.

He married Agnes Dillon on Dec. 24, 1919, in Webster City. He was a member of the Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church, a member of both the Waterloo and Cedar Falls Real Estate boards, Elks Lodge No. 290, and a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion.

Survived by his widow, at home, and by two sons, Thomas C., Denver, Colo., and George L., Ames. Also surviving are three grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Edward G. Herring, Hollywood, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
