Eugene F. Prochaska, 88, of Omaha, Arkansas, formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at home.

He was born November 15, 1918, in Benton County, son of Robert and Elsie Runyan Prochaska. He married Anna Converse in 1939 in Galena Illinois. They were later divorced. He married Doris Rosenberg on November 21, 1945 in Lancaster Missouri. She died in 2003. He was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 48 years retiring in 1983.

Survivors include a son Richard (JoAnn) Prochaska; two daughters, Charlene (Doug) Melcher of Waterloo and Kathlene Bonneson of Omaha, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one foster grandchild; four great-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren and two brothers Donald (Dorothy) Prochaska and Lyle Prochaska, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother Marion and two sisters, Thelma Moore and Lois Schwartz.

Services are pending at our West Ridgeway location.
