Amy Suzette Van Besien Howard, 39, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, formally of Waterloo passed away at home of pancreatic cancer on November 13, 2006.

She was born January 14, 1967 to parents Richard and Sandra Howe Van Besien. She was married to Vincent Howard on August 1, 1986, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo.

She was a Columbus High graduate in 1985. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with a Teachers Degree.

Survived by her husband and children Brittany 16, Trevor 14, Vinny 9, and Hope 5. Also survived by her parents and siblings Kelly (Gene) Hansen Mark (Deanna) Van Besien and Bridgette (Jeff) Miller all of Waterloo and Sara (Dennis) Jordan of Cedar Rapids. Her maternal grandmother- Mildred Howe and nieces and nephews: Blake, Holly and Bryar Hansen; Jacob and Joshua Van Besien; Alexander and Mackenzie Jordan; and Maddelynn Miller. She also has several great uncles and aunts and very special cousins.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents-Robert & Margaret Van Besien and maternal grandfather-Clifford Howe.

Friends may call on Friday November 24 from 4 p.m. 6 p.m. at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 6 p.m. memorial service.

Memorials may be made to Amy's children's educational fund.
