Mrs. Freeman C. Decker, 62, of 1703 Black Hawk Street, died at home Thursday at 3 a.m. of complications incident to advanced age

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hurd, she was born April 8, 1886, in Waterloo. She was married to Freeman C. Decker in Waterloo Aug. 5, 1905.

Surviving are her husband, at home; three daughters: Mrs. John Buchan, Charles City, la., Mrs. Joseph Heinick, 1900 Sycamore Street and Mrs. John Dalton, 1713 Black Hawk Street; a brother whom the Decker's adopted as a son, Freeman C. Decker. Jr.. 321 Glendale Street three brothers, Francis Hurd, 1414 Avalon Street, Manuel, 1712 Black Hawk Street, and Walter, 63 West 14th Street; a sister, Mrs. James B. Pike. Panora, la., seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The body is at Kearns Garden Chapel where plans are being made for funeral services.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Decker of 1703 Black Hawk Street, who died Thursday, will be conducted at Kearns Garden Chapel Saturday at 3 p.m. by Rev. G. M. Vriezelaar, pastor of Open Bible Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
