Services for Mr. Freeman C. "Shorty" Decker, Jr., 74, of 321 Glendale St., will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel of Memories West, with burial in Garden of Memories. Mr. Decker died Friday evening at Allen Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 17, 1905, in Waterloo, the son of Freeman and Sadie Hurd Decker. He married Cora A. Troupe on April 15,1926, in Waverly. He had been employed by Rath Packing Company for 27 years, retiring in 1969.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Charles, of Jesup, Robert, of 130 Prince St.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Melvina Pike, of Linden, Mrs. John Buchan, of 1440 Lyon Ave., Mrs. John Dalton, of 1713 Blackhawk St., Mrs. Nellie Heinick, Park Towers Apartments.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West after 3 p.m. Sunday.
