Funeral services have been tentatively set for Saturday morning at the St. Edward's Catholic Church for Mrs. Dora Tamisiea, 81, who died at 7::45 p. m. Tuesday at the Stevens Nursing Home of complications following a stroke. Mrs. Tamisiea had been a patient at the home for 2½ years. She had formerly lived at 255 Parkview Blvd.

She was born Nov. 11, 1878, in Council Bluffs, and was married to Elmer Tamisiea on Aug. 22, 1903, at Council Bluffs. The couple came to Waterloo in 1936. She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, Bert L. of 255 Parkview Blvd., two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Johnson, of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Vetura Thomas, of Minneapolis, Minn., and one grandson, Lt. Donald Tamisiea, at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station.

She was preceded by her parents, one sister, and her husband, who died in February of 1958.

Friends may call at the Parrott and Wood funeral home after noon on Thursday.
