Services for James W. Bingham. 71, of Shell Rock, and formerly of Waterloo, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Denver with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. The Denver American Legion post will conduct military rites at the grave. He died Friday night at Allen

Mr. Bingham was born Aug. 12. 1909, in Kansas. He worked at the Wagner Overhead Door Co.

He married Fern Acker Sept. 23. 1935. in Waverly, He was a veteran of World War II and served in Palestine.

Survivors include a daughter. Barbara Dostart of Shell Rock: five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister. Mrs. Beth Williams of San Jose. Calif.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West after noon Monday and at the church in Denver for an hour before services Tuesday.
