Services for Charlotte Moonyeen Coon Ferreira, 65, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Southside Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

She died Tuesday evening, (Aug. 1, 1989), at Memorial Medical Center, Jacksonville, of cancer.

She was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Waterloo, the daughter of Frank and Gertie Colvin Coon. She married Joseph Ferreira Feb. 10, 1945, in Teaneck, N.J.

Survivors include her husband; a son, James Nicholas of Superior, Wis.; two daughter, Karen Mockel of Hewett, N.J., and Gertie Poole of Great Lakes, Ill,; a sister, Jean Wood of Waterloo; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

The George H. Hewell and Sons Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Fla., is in charge of arrangements. The body will be cremated.
