Mrs. Ruth P. Glaza, 68, of 204 Alta Vista Ave., died at midnight Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital here of complications of a lingering, arthritic condition.

She was born. March 17, 1902 in Dubuque to Jeremiah and Anna Mehl Guilford. She had lived in Waterloo most of her life, but moved to Iowa Falls in 1945 and back to Waterloo in 1968. Married Aug. 12, 1924 in Waterloo to Martin J. (Duke) Glaza, she was member of St John's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, M. James Glaza, 204 Alta Vista Ave. Richard L. Glaza of Cedar Rapids, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Clarence Ferring, pastor at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Marks Cemetery, Iowa Falls. A parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Committal will be at 11:45 a.m. Firday following services.
