CEDAR FALLS - Frances E. Douglas, 75, of 1612 W. Eighth St. died Wednesday, June 5, 1996, at the Cedar Falls Western Home from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

She was born June 9, 1920 in Durham, N.C., daughter of Claude and Maggie Shoffner Edwards. She married Richard S. Douglas on Oct 7, 1953, in Durham.

Survived by her husband, three daughters: Lynn Malo of Gurnee, Ill., Susan Risse of Fern and Karen Byerly of Littleton, Colo.; two grandchildren, and a sister, Dorothy MacMillan of Durham. -.

Preceded m death by a sister, Margaret Edwards.

Services: 2 p.m.; Friday at United Church of Chrlst, Cedar Falls with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Wesrfield, NJ, at a later date. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and an hour before services Friday at the church.
