WATERLOO — Sandra Rae Erickson, 54, of 1152 E. Ridgeway Ave., died Monday, Dec. 8, 1997 at Manor Care Health Services, from complications of Huntington's disease.

She was born July 21, 1943, in Chicago, daughter of Newton and Gladys Bireline Rood. She married Glenn A. Erickson on Sept. 23, 1973, in Chicago.

Mrs. Erickson was a 1966 graduate of Iowa State Teacher's College, Cedar Falls, and was employed by Black Hawk County Social Services in the Child Adoption Department from 1966 until 1973.

Survived by her husband.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: I p.m. Wednesday at Barr Funeral Home, 204 W. Seerley Blvd., Cedar Falls, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services Wednesday at the funeral home.
