CEDAR FALLS - Virgil L. Heiserman, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls.

He was born November 11, 1931, in rural Masonville, Iowa, the son of Walter and Louise (Iben) Heiserman. He graduated from Winthrop High School in 1949, attended Wartburg College 1 year, and received his degree from Gates Business College in Waterloo.

Virgil was an accountant with Diemer & Nielsen Co. and later with Paul R. Nielsen Co, both in Cedar Falls, retiring in 1992.

Survived by his sister, Marjorie Burns of Strawberry Point, IA; brother, Harold (Belva) Heiserman of Maplewood, MN; and sister-in-law, Gloria Heiserman of Manchester, IA.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with interment in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Ryan, IA. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
