WATERLOO — Wayne Henry Faust, 74, of Vista, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Wednesday July 3, 2013.

He was born July 16, 1938, son of Harry and Dorothy Faust. He married Karen Kay Kuenstling and she preceded him in death.

Mr. Faust served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years and also was a school bus driver for the Vista Unified School District for eight years.

Survived by a son, William (Pamela) of Oceanside, Calif.; a daughter, Mary Faust-Snead (Dennis) of Fort Stockton, Texas; two grandchildren, Jonathan Crothers of Tacoma, Wash., and Tiffany Sloan of Fort Stockton; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Sloan of Fort Stockton; two brothers, Lester of Waverly and Robert (Janet) of Waterloo; two sisters, Shirley (Charles) Sanders of San Clemente, Calif., and Susan Thurman of Beaman; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law, Lavonne Faust; and a nephew, Kevin Faust.

Services: 11 a.m. July 20 at Faith Lutheran Church, Vista.
