Jean Louise Klein 79, of Waterloo, died Friday, May 4, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.
She was born August 16, 1927 in Urbana, daughter of Horace N. and Hazel V. Hawley Wyckoff. She married Emmett Abe Eugene Klein on November 24, 1948, in Waterloo. He died March 3 1992.

Mrs. Klein graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1945 and was employed with GMAC for 30 years until retirement.

Survivors include three sons: Vern (Pam) Klein, Mike (Angie Shimp), and Dan (Robin) all of Waterloo; three daughters: Kate (Steve) Honn, Pat Pexa, and Mary (Joe) Card, all of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Lorna Wyckoff of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son-in-law Jon Pexa; her parents; two brothers, Harold and Merle (Louise) Wyckoff; and a sister Marge (Marvin) Betts.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also at the church for one hour before services on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice.
