CEDAR FALLS- Lyle Gene Boerhave, 42, of Cedar Falls, died of Leukemia on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born May 8, 1966 in Sheldon, son of George E. and Lila D. (Rouwenhorst) Boerhave. He married Ann L. Catchpool on May 7, 1993, in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Boerhave graduated from Sheldon High School and attended Northwestern College at Orange City prior to attending Iowa State, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1990. He was currently co-owner of Echo Automation, a consulting firm for electrical industrial application.

He is survived by his wife, Ann of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Landry, Makenna and Skylar, all at home; parents, George and Lila Boerhave of Matlock; a brother, Steven (Anne) Boerhave of Palo; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Nancy Catchpool, sister-in-law, Jill (Todd) VanDorn, and brother-in-law, Bruce (Theresa) Catchpool, all of Cedar Falls; and nine nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto A. Rouwenhorst and Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Boerhave.

Private family services will be held with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Matlock, IA. There will be no public visitation. Condolences may be sent to Ann Boerhave, 2805 Glen Oaks Dr, Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613.

Memorials may be directed to Ann Boerhave for the children's college funds.
