James Brunning, 38, formerly of Waterloo, who was living in Storm Lake, died of complications of cancer in Storm Lake.

He was born Oct. 21, 1938, in Boone, the son of Harold and Mettle Darr Brunning,

He married [Doris] Jean Davis Aug. 27, 1954, in Storm Lake. While living in Waterloo he worked at Rath Packing Company and Warren Transport.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Shane* and Wendy, at home; two sons, Larry and Jay, at home; and his mother, Mrs. Mettie Brunning of Storm Lake.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Thursday at the Hughes and Nelson Funeral Home in Storm Lake.

Services for former Waterloo resident James Brunning, 38, of Storm Lake, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hughes and Nelson Funeral Home in Storm Lake, with burial there. He died of complications of cancer in Storm Lake.
