Lillian E. Rawdon, 92, of New Hartford, died Friday, March 9, 2007, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born May 18, 1914, in Cedar Falls, daughter of George and Carrie Peterson. She married Walter E. Rawdon on Jan. 1, 1936, in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1996.

Mrs. Rawdon had been a reporter for the Parkersburg Eclipse, and had been employed at Home Cafe in New Hartford, Perrin Nursing Home, and Barn Cafe in Dike.

Survived by a son, Ken of Hayward, Calif.

Preceded in death by a son, Marvin.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home.
