Services for Virginia B. Christy, 48, of 47 Zuma St., will be 10 a.m. Friday at Faith Assembly of God Church in Elk Run Heights with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mrs. Christy died Tuesday night at Schoitz Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was bom July 18, 1936, at Flint, Mich., daughter of Virgil 0. and Ellen B. Jessop Williams. She married George J. Christy April 23, 1953, at Ottumwa.

She is survived by her husband; four sons: John 0. of Ottumwa, Michael and Loyal J., both of Waterloo, and Norman L. at home; a daughter, Chantale Larsen of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; her parents of Ottumwa; and two sisters, Sharon Williams of Lake Ozark, Mo., and Linda Fuller of Pekin, Ill.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Memories and for an hour before services at the
church.
