CEDAR FALLS — Nancy J. LeMont, 51, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born Aug. 21, 1961, in Osage, daughter of Donald Lee and Mary Jean Terhark Risting. She married Mark LeMont and they later divorced.

She graduated from Osage High School in 1979 and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and secondary education from the University of Northern Iowa. She was employed as assistant director of admissions at UNI.

Survived by three brothers, Jerome (Lisa) Risting of Mason City, Mark (Lynnda) Risting of Grinnell and Darryl (Jennifer) Risting of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Marilyn (Dan) Morgan of Tampa, Fla., Deanne (Tom Michaelsen) Neptune of St. Paul, Minn., and Carol Risting; and special friend, Chuck Graves of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. July 6 at Richardson Funeral Service, preceded by an hour of visitation.
