Funeral services for Mrs. Walter H. Schmitt, 62, of 139 Lewis St., will be at 11 a. m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Oppold Funeral Home. Mrs. Schmitt died at 2 p. m. Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital of complications following surgery.

She was born Vivian O'Connor on Sept. 22, 1904. in Westgate, the daughter of Peter and Catherine
Zimmer O'Connor. On April 11, 1923, in Raymond she was married to Walter Schmitt. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Eugene, 1924 City View; two daughters. Mrs. Harry Leeper, 728 Burr Oak Ave., Evansdale, and Mrs. Ralph Buntrock, Glen Ellyn, Ill.; seven grandchildren; one
lister, Mrs. William Wagner two brothers, Joseph, 415 Arlington St., and William, of Raymond.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Mrs Walter Schmitt, 62, of 139 Lewis St., who died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, will be at St. John's Catholic church at 11 a.m. Friday The Rev. Clarence Ferring, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

A rosary service by the parish and its Rosary Society is scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday at the Oppold Funeral Home.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schmitt was preceded in death by one brother.
